Open Repository Solutions

We empower cultural heritage institutions to deliver on their missions to preserve and provide access to knowledge, ensuring that digitized objects become and remain accessible to all.

We accomplish this by designing, building, and maintaining Open Source digital repository solutions, primarily utilizing Islandora and Archipelago.

Our Philosophy

Investment in Open Source
We believe open source, community-owned software best embodies and advances the interests of cultural heritage institutions. We actively participate in open source communities, contributing our knowledge, expertise, and code to support a vibrant ecosystem of infrastructure solutions for the library, archives, and museum community. We are proud to be Partner-level members of the Islandora Foundation, early adopters of Archipelago and frequent collaborators with METRO, and Certified Fedora Contributors.

Holistic Service Model
We deliver a full suite of services: robust software tailored to meet your needs, along with strategic consulting services that help maximize each collections’ impact. We combine experience developing Open Source digital repository infrastructure with expertise in information architecture, metadata modeling, user experience, needs assessment, and strategic planning. Commitment to Open Access
Open Access to scholarly and archival information drives creativity, advances critical research, and helps communities thrive. In collaboration with libraries and archives, we seek to make both digitized and born-digital cultural heritage and scholarly information discoverable, accessible, and reusable on the web. We extend that philosophy to our software: our clients retain full control of their collections—no lock-ins, no proprietary solutions.
